UPC DTH extends its channel line up with the addition of 3 channels in its markets.
Luxembourg, 07th October, 2014 - UPC DTH S.à r.l., a leading satellite television provider in Central and Eastern Europe, announces the addition of Comedy Central Extra in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. Paramount Movie Channel will be also added to the UPC Direct services in Hungary and Focus Sat services in Romania as well as Nick Jr channel in Hungary. 

Comedy-Central-ExtraStarting Monday 6th of October UPC DTH’s viewers who are fans of comedies and series will enjoy watching Comedy Central Extra as part of their UPC Direct, freeSAT or Focus Sat service. While movies fans will be able to watch Paramount movie channel in both the Hungarian and Romanian markets. Comedy Central Extra currently airs a variety of American shows including Frasierand M*A*S*H. At the weekends, rounding out the schedule, the focus will be on British comedies.

Paramount Movie channel broadcasts classics from the Paramount portfolio that will meet the customer’s wishes for quality content with the biggest Hollywood movies.

NickJrWith the addition of Nick Jr to the UPC Direct service in Hungary, younger viewers in the family will also be able to enjoy the fun and cartoons of their choice.

Comedy Central Extra will be available as part of Plus package and Paramount Movie Channel as part of the Medium package. Customers will be able to enjoy Nick Jr as part of Plus package as long as they have the new HD capable equipment (Humax set-top box or DVR).
