freeSAT has over 120 thousand subscribers in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia

The number of freeSAT subscribers in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia increased in 2015 by 7,2 % growing from 112 000 to 120 100 customers as of the end of the year. The total number of UPC DTH S.à r.l. (UPC DTH) subscribers, which freeSAT is part of, reached in 2015 the number of 830 thousand. UPC DTH operates satellite TV services in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.

“2015 was a great  year for us. We are delighted that after crossing the 800 thousand mark in the Fall, we maintained our growth trajectory and ended the year with 830 thousand subscribers in  the region,“ said Jim Helfgott, VP of Marketing and Sales at UPC DTH S.à r.l. “Several new channels and new services were introduced in 2015.
